Configurable emissions

Currently ferries are set at 121 grams of carbon dioxide per travelled kilometer. For short trips (which no doubt make up the majority of logged ferry trips) this could be true. However, in certain usecases (i.e. most of my ferry trips) this value is more than twice the real data. I would like to see an option added to configure the emission data for a certain trip/vehicle.
