Ability to split trip into segments

Mainly to be able to accurately reflect operator or vehicle changes during a single trip without all operators / vehicles being counted for the entire trip. As in, my train switched locomotives at some intermediate station, and I want the first and last locomotive to show up in the statistics only for their actual run length, so I add a segment splitting waypoint on the map where the switch happened, and am able to enter different operators / vehicles (maybe also tickets, prices, etc.). Probably a niche thing, and maybe too complicated to be worth it.
