Expose the error when data import fails

When a user imports a CSV file and the import fails, would you consider exposing the error to the user? Now it is a bit of guessing game what's wrong with the file. IF there are reasons not to expose the error (idk, security?), at least display a big red error. Right now it is easy to miss the fact that the upload failed.
